Not possibly. Definitely. Sure, each season is somewhat different, but looking at only the current season when evaluating a player is foolish and shows a lack of understanding of the game.

Frenchy takes Mitchell Boggs deep, feckin' up Cardinals rookie Michael Wacha's first big league start. Wacha goes seven, gives up two hits, one run, no walks and strikes out six.

Feckin' Boggs looks all done up.

How someone hasn't just teed off on one of these 67-mph curveballs by Lilly is beyond me.

Also, Vin Scully said Lilly has allowed 290 HR in his career, I am gonna have to see who the ML leader in HR allowed among active pitchers is.

Why would you care? It's no indication of who is going to give up home runs this year.

Brodie just gave up a walk-off.

Jacoby Ellsbury stole five bases tonight for the Red Sox, breaking the club record. Strangely enough, he scored no runs as a result of any of the thefts.

Sent the paper to bed a couple of hours ago without it, but just looked ... there is still a rain delay in the KC-St. Louis game. Coming up on 3 a.m. local time. Royals scored 3 runs in ninth to take 4-2 lead.

Just tuned in, too, and was stunned.

There are about 100 people still in the stands.

    And the Royals win.

If I didn't know better, I'd say all of this fantasy baseball talk was an attempt to take spnited away from the utter euphoria he'd be experiencing from the Mets' 4-game sweep of the Yankees. #RIP

Mark Buehrle with 311. Lilly is tied for third with Bronson Arroyo. (Bartolo Colon is 2nd with 301).

If they had called the game, the Cardinals would have been awarded a 2-1 victory.
