When you bring one, maybe people will stop treating you like an idiot.

You see it all the time. Pretty much every Monday, after a guy hits something like .450 over a 5-to-7 game stretch and wins a player of the week award.

Based on NDJournalist's idiotic love of all things long-term, the Marlins never would have played Mike Redmond at catcher when they faced Tom Glavine. After all, whoever they had who was their starting catcher would have been the much more logical choice based on long-term trends, never mind that Redmond batted about .750 against Glavine in defiance of any logic whatsoever. Sample size!

The only long-term consistency I see in NDJ's arguments is when Moddy or MileHigh come along and tell him to stop. Not that he heeds ...

Fourth of July caps unveiled. Some of them look pretty good:

    Which one's look solid?

    They're all ugly.

These three are my favorites. Though I'm not sure why the Nationals had to have a separate cap considering they've already got a stars-and-stripes one in their ensemble.

They should keep it to Philly and DC. Why Toronto?

    So they can sell them.

The Jays also had the camo hats during Memorial Day weekend, but opted instead to wear their batting practice caps.
