That is a nice development for Braves fans.

    See how this works?

At least they're (seemingly) taking care of this one the right way, unlike Harper, Espinosa, Ramos, Werth, and God knows how many others.

Atlanta has actually done pretty well vs. Strasburg (he's 3-4 with a 3.55 ERA against the Braves).

Now if they could just get rid of Zimmermann ...

Correct. But Strasburg pitches against other teams, too. Typically, rather well. It would behoove the Braves for Strasburg's 2-something ERA to be on the DL.

That aside (and I agree), the difference in my snide comment and yours is that Strasburg going on the DL actually helps the Braves. Teheran losing his no-hitter in a game in which there was virtually no way the Pirates were going to win has no effect on the Nationals.

Obviously. But I'll never stop finding amusement in fans like you who see a harmless comment like that and go straight into Defensive Fan Mode.

But yes, you are correct. The Nationals are not playing as well as they expected to so far this season. Sick burn.

Anyway....there are more important things to worry about. Like me never sitting in Sec. 119, Row F, Seat 12 for another Nats game. Both times, they've given up at least 10 runs. That doesn't work for me.

So you're above it all, except when you're not. Check.

    Carry on.

Dipshit. That comment wasn't even directed at you. But you took it upon yourself to get offended by it, at least to the point of making a "YEAH, WELL, SO WHAT, YOUR TEAM SUCKS!!!!!" response. I'm sorry that my 1% of happiness over The Iron Sheik losing a no-hitter caused you to turn into Defensive Fan, the kind typically reserved for Yankees fans. Or Alabama fans. Wait a minute....

The whole thing is fucking stupid. Thanks.

And enjoy the World Series, man. You'd better get your tickets soon.

Can't we all just rally around agreement that the Mets suck?
