Yep. (Pending the re-creation of the inning, of course, and whether the run would have scored anyway.)

Well he survived sundown, but didn't make it through today. Valverde DFA'ed.

Or taking the head off of a lefty.

That'd be what Harbaugh would call.

More like it'll hit a lefty in the shoulder area.

Jose Bautista hits a two-run home run in the eight inning, which gave the Blue Jays a 4-2 lead and eventually their tenth win in a row. He also had some words for O'Day who struck him out last night and told him to sit down.

In Jays history this isn't close to being as awesome as Ernie Whitt screaming at Bruce Kison after hitting a grand slam in the game where Kison got karate kicked by George Bell.

Pretty much guarantees Bautista gets nailed tomorrow.

I remember that like it was yesterday.

No doubt Bautista gets hit. Then both teams will probably get warning and it will be the end of it. Should be a great game.

I love the reactions of the camera people behind home plate, who were expecting the traditional lob and suddenly had that missile coming for them.

Been years since I had to compile earned vs. unearned runs, but it's a different type of error, yet a wild pitch is treated just the opposite?
