Yeah, I was just going to say -- Jesus Christ, guys.

Anyhoo, fuckin' Puig. Beat the Giants singlehandedly last night in his first game against them. His home run was basically a fight-it-off swing and it goes out. The only bright spot is knowing the Dodgers will never put a decent team around him.

Question is, should Puig be in the All-Star Game?

Hell yeah. Probably the only time I'll get to see him play this year.

It is tough to do it after 30 games or whatever it will be, but he'd be the very rare guy who deserved it.

And I'm sure Bochy will go out of his way to help a Dodger out. :)

Depends on how you view the All Star Game, I guess.

If you put your Serious Hat on and choose players as such, then no way should he be in.
If you treat it as nothing more than a fun event used to increase/maintain interest, then of course he should be in.

We all know how MLB treats it.

Wouldn't be a shock if he isn't on the selected team, but wins the internet fan vote as the 38th man, or however many they have on the rosters now.

Ah, the All-Star game roster ... the thing people lose their shit about from June 25-July 10 every year ... and then completely lose interest in 30 seconds after the game is over.

    Nope.

Wouldn't mind seeing him in the HR Derby, but he has only played not even half the season.

Oh, and Ian Stewart is available too. I'm sure teams will be lining up for his services.
