45,000 plus at the Rogers Centre for a weekend game against the Red Sox. All tied up 4-4 in the 8th.

Jose Reyes is 4 for 4 with a home run. Guy may turn into the most popular Jay.

Give him three weeks and he'll be out with an injury.

Love that I can listen to Vin Scully on my iPhone.

Astros down 8-0, have two hits through five innings.

Do they play the Marlins? There might be 25 true major leaguers in those games. Maybe.

Astros haven't scored since Sunday night.

    Outscored 19-0.

Josh, Josh, Josh ... Josh. Please hush ... it will be better for you if you do.

It looked to me like a total hanger. Sometimes the knees buckle and you can't pull the trigger, but throw that pitch 10 times and seven of them leave the yard.

He sure as hell can't hit a foot-wide slider, no matter how many times you throw it. He'll offer at it every time.

The Rangers don't have a book on him, they've got an encyclopedia.

Good for him. He was never going to get it done with the batting instruction he was getting in Texas and the scenery change was going to do wonders for him.

If the Dodgers can get one other pitcher to step up with Kershaw and Greinke, they may not need to hit that much. Greinke was great tonight.

Took in night-after-opening-night at Chase Field in Phoenix. With the roof open, it actually felt more like a ballpark than a basketball arena.

We also enjoyed watching Heath Bell serve up Home Run Derby pitches for mighty Cardinals sluggers such as Pete Kozma and Jon Jay.

Still, D-backs bounced back to win in 16 innings, then got a good outing from Miley tonight. Solid start for Gibson and Co.

    Yankees, not Twins.

Of course it being against the AAAnkees probably makes it less impressive. :D
