Have any writers addressed Stephen Strasburg's struggles? He's only 4-6. Also, for the first time in his life, he has less strikeouts than IP. Also, just 3.16 SO/BB ratio. Compare to guys like Cliff Lee and Matt Harvey, who are around 5.5/1.

I think the arm troubles are catching up to him, to be honest. Either that, or he was overhyped to begin with. It's a shame. I was really excited when he broke in with that big strikeout game a few years ago. I should have learned from Kerry Wood not to get too worked up over a potential flash in the pan like this.

You're joking, right? Strasburg is a victim of no run support. He has the sixth best ERA in the National League at 2.41, 98 K in 100.1 innings, and a very impressive 168 ERA+ (which would be his best ever, save for the 2011 season when he pitched just 24 innings).

Also, I really hope you were joking, and re-reading it I think you were, because a 3.6/1 K/BB ratio is amazing.

That was an obvious dig at.....whoever thinks W/L record is important.

But wouldn't ya know it, someone did write about his horrible season just this morning:

Oh good. You're back. I'll start the thread for prop bets on how long you last this time.

Rays can't move because they have a super-long lease.

Montreal ain't building a new stadium.

Oklahoma won't use a nickname that is from a defunct football league.

Cleveland sure as heck won't pick a nickname that won a mere 20 games in its last season.

Put the Reds in the NL North, put the Astros in the NL South, and move the Rockies to the AL South.

Josh Hamilton is chewing tobacco again. Josh Hamilton is hitting like Josh Hamilton again. Are the two related? Should we give a shit?

I see where Selena Roberts did some concern trolling on Twitter calling his tobacco relapse "troubling."

What were those bugs that swarmed the Indians-Yankees game several years ago? If you're going to name the Cleveland club after a bug, I'd go with whatever those things were instead of Spiders.

Personally, I'd go non-bug and maybe something related to the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame. Some possibilities: Rockers, Strings, Frets, Amps, Sticks.

Bobby Bonilla just received his annual 1.2 million payment from the Mets, he'll get that same annual payment until 2035, when he turns 72 years of age.

Josh Hamilton, who has spun his wild-and-crazy drug anecdotes into a lucrative cottage industry, getting testy about reporters prying about this topic is about the most absurd thing I've ever read.

So is a writer acting like he or she is in any position to judge Hamilton.

Good for Bobby, frankly. The Mets deserve to write that check every single year for thinking they could take the money they owed him back in the day and triple it in Madoff's ponzi scheme.

I believe Bonilla is also getting like $250,000 a year from the Orioles for another decade. He looks like the smartest professional athlete ever, in a way.

Who is/was his agent? That's who should get the credit.
