Also, they installed a rule a few years ago that one already-used player per team could "re-enter" if the game went extra innings.

I'm glad I didn't watch the game. I'm already over the fellating of Mariano Rivera. Too much about how he is the classiest player in the game. Makes me wanna vomit.

Is this the case? Don't they get an honorary designation as an All-Star, at least? I can't recall.

Looking back on some of the stories at the time, it seems like the OUTRAGE!!!111 was largely driven by the reaction by fans in the ballpark, who booed pretty lustily at the time.

I was visiting my grandmother in the rehab facility. Way more important than a baseball game.

Is that an acceptable response you pretentious douchebag?

Since we've been talking about minor league franchises ... according to Forbes, the most valuable franchise in all of minor league baseball is the Sacramento RiverCats, the Oakland A's Triple-A franchise. Worth an estimated $38 million. Kind of funny given the major league team's situation 90 miles away.

Round Rock Express is second at $35M.

Yes, they get the honorary designation. They get to come to the game, stand out on the field, wave their little hat and sit in the dugout. But they don't count on the roster.

Just curious, who do you think is actually the classiest player in the game, if not Rivera?
