    Rob Picciolo looks good.

  3. Jester hits the Yankees' first HR in 10 games and is winded rounding the bases in the bottom of the first. Bring on a pennant run!

"@TBrownYahoo: Source: Pujols has been told he's likely done for the season. Surgery possible, but undetermined."

Only 8 years, $200 million left on his contract after this year ...

Chad Fairchild wins the Bob Davidson Award for Achievement in Situation Management today at Comerica by ejecting Miguel Cabrera for moderately arguing two borderline strike calls with the bases loaded. Considering the Phillies got out of the inning, someone ought to by that man a cheesesteak.

(Note: Fairchild has a history with the Tigers. Ejected Luke Putkonen without warning for throwing behind a batter two weeks ago against Chicago.)

I'm sure the city of St. Louis sends its regards.

Love seeing it happen to the Angels, and knowing they'll just overpay for the next guy next off-season. Maybe they'll trade for Ryan Braun.

That's six ejections for Fairchild this month, including four since July 20. Also in July? He worked his first All-Star Game

Just in case you're watching from afar, he also gave Leyland the gate during the discussion.

Also got Leyland during the Putkonen Event. Along with the four Tigers, he threw out Jayson Werth on the 20th and Fredi Gonzalez on Thursday.

Phillies having an inning for the ages:

BB, E-1, Bunt single, F9, Attempted SF7 comedically dropped, Bases-loaded BB in which ball four is a wild pitch that ends up in front of first base, attempted forceout at home in which the throw to the plate pulled Ruiz, 10-pitch walk...

...and a no-doubter grand slam by Peralta, which was the second hit of the inning and the only one that got out of the infield.

So far, that's seven runs on two hits, two walks and three errors (with one out).

And then the Phillies bring on a reliever named Bastardo (which I'm sure isn't as funny in the National League, but still.)

Has there ever been any speculation about Pujols using PED's?

    Not that I've heard.
