shit, i can remember the first day of legion ball when the manager of the team sat us down and said: "if a brawl breaks out, and i look back and see you sitting on this bench, you no longer will be on this team. we don't play baseball like that."

I'll give you that one. Wilson is an AP Writer based in SD. So that might be legit.
