O'Nora with every umpires worst nightmare....shot to the throat.
Thank God for the throat protector, but still.....

It makes you wonder if The Yankees just beaned him.

Schilling was sort of suggesting that by saying how awkward it was.
If it comes first pitch after a meeting.....maybe.....but then......pitcher,catcher, manager all go bye bye.

Giradi was already tossed in the 2nd inning.

I know that. So, Pena would go. Big if though. I think it was just an innocent cross up.

No big deal if Pena went. I think it was an "innocent" cross up.

It didn't happen tonight, but it would have appeared the Yankees finally had found the perfect role for Joba. Sacrificial lamb.

What is this "Code Red" of which you speak?
You might speculate that I ordered the Code Red, but I of course, could not possibly comment.

I mean, what's the big deal huh? Not like he killed a guy..."

who the fuck is ryan dempster to take it upon himself to apply 'justice' to rodriguez? baseball players are dumber than spit. way to get the yanks riled up... the umpire blew it by not immediately ejecting dumbster and just warning both teams to knock it off. c.s. wasnt given a chance to 'retaliate' -- wrong time, wrong place. it's times like this i wish there wasnt d.h. so chickenspits like dumbster wouldnt be so quick to play 'enforcer.'

Not sure why Dempster (and so many others, apparently) are pissed that A-Roid is still playing.

I haven't read the fine print, but I doubt there's a "fucking rat fink" exception to the collectively bargained right to continue playing while appealing a suspension.

A-Roid is obviously a scumbag of the highest order. I wish he'd go away quietly and never be heard from again.

But in this specific case, he's simply following the rules that the MLBPA fought for.

The union is reaping what it has sown by all the years of fighting tooth and nail to protect cheaters.

Yeah and it took him FOUR pitches to hit ARod. That's bush.
