AP has photos up of Kemp nose to nose with Quentin in the tunnel leaving the stadium. Both in street clothes. And some of Clayton Richard and a cop getting between them.

Incidents like this is why the whole "code" business is ridiculous. Didn't Greinke have elbow trouble in spring training? I really don't care what it does for team unity, Greinke isn't going to win any games - which he's being paid to do - with his arm in a sling,

If teams want goons, scout the NHL, not the minors.

are you suggesting greinke tried to hit the leadoff hitter in a tie game with a 3-2 count? really? is that what you're saying here?

    EDIT: one-run game.

Of course not. There's plenty of stoopid to go around in this one, from charging the mound in the first place to even throwing inside in that situation.

Throwing inside on a 3-2 count to a power hitter is stupid? In what universe?

    Carlos Quentin's, apparently.

Lets not forget Quentin stands on the plate. He leads the league in HBP the past four years.

Looks like Greinke got at least one good shot in. Of course, that's the one place on Quentin's body he's got protection after losing the batting helmet.

And how did Quentin not get hurt in this? He's even more fragile than Greinke.

Also, I bet Greinke now wishes he'd taken a more defensive stance.

Vicente Padilla doesn't even need an excuse.

Morse got hurt last night? Broken pinky? Won't be out long but wow, poor guy seems to be an injury magnet. I wonder what his career would look like without all the nagging stuff that has held him back.
