Ortiz rips RBI-double for 2,000th career hit and then Alburquerque serves up a 2-run homer.

Poor kid.

Sox up 13-4.

 

Yeah, that game escalated quickly. Tigers never play well at Fenway, though, so I'll take one win.

One way or the other, Tigers-BoSox would be an excellent ALCS if it came to pass.

And for 2,001, Papi just sent one to Dorchester, 2-run shot, and the Sox are doing it without the KY, 18-4.
