On his 4th straight day of work, Aroldis just did the Dodgers without the jelly. Hard.

Reds take the opener. Dodgers come back with Kershaw and Greinke.

And, if I heard it correctly, Pete Rose is being allowed to join the '75-'76 Machine for ceremonies either after the game tonight or before tomorrow's game.

Andy Pettitte gave the Yankees a quality start, too bad they needed a Devil start.

48 years ago today, in front of 29,000 at Dodger Stadium, Koufax tossed a perfect game.

And lose both. Kershaw is gonna have to start tossing shutouts to win games, what's his average run support, two?

No structural damage to Bryce Harper's hip, so it's not quite time to take him out behind the barn and shoot him:

That was also the last time the Chicago Cubs were no-hit.

And just like in July, Cabrera is tossed mid-at-bat, this time by Brian Gorman. Was hit by pitch he check-swung at, Gorman refused appeal.

Checked the MLB Ejection League and am fairly certain no other player has been ejected in the middle of hit at-bat this season.

unlike you I'm not a Tigers fanboi but instead a White Sox fanboi, so.....

Comcast Sports Chicago replay showed he went too far and it was called a swing. Ump was correct. Cabrera got his say and was told it was enough. Next pitch he fouled off and then said something and was ejected. Don't know if he cursed or said something along the lines of "unlike the last pitch that one I did swing at" but just because he's a triple crown winner and the best hitter currently active in baseball doesn't mean he can continue to argue ball & strikes anytime he wants. Good call by Brian Gorman to eject him and that rat bastard Leyland too. Two mid-bat ejections by two different umpires in 6 weeks for continuing to argue balls & strikes after the next pitch may demonstrate the problem is with Cabrera expecting preferential treatment and not MLB umpires. F' Miggy and the rest of the Tigers too.

    ;D ;D ;D
