Begs the question: Realistically, what can MLB do to reverse this trend?

In the U.S. baseball is not the street game it is in Latin America. It's effing expensive. Jason Heyward's family spent a small fortune driving him to tournaments all over the south. I'm afraid we'll be seeing even fewer and fewer Black Americans in the sport as the years go on.

 

That the latest board troll is a Braves fan has officially ruined the 2013 MLB thread for me.

 

The Phillies' closer is concerned:
