.300 is still better than the assorted players who should be at Albuquerque.

Seriously, Skip Schumaker, Justin Sellers, Luis Cruz and Juan Uribe shouldn't be anywhere near this team. Granted now that Ramirez is back, Sellers won't play and hopefully Cruz gets the rest of the season off.

I don't give a shit about what Punto did in 2006 when he was with the Twins, because it's not 2006 anymore. It's 2013 and in every Dodgers game I have seen this season (probably 24 of the 25 so far) when Punto plays he gets on base. So those stats from two, three, four years ago don't mean dick.

When are stats people gonna get over the fact that last season and 2011, 2010, 2009 don't mean shit in 2013?

The only position where the Dodgers don't have an everyday player is 3B, I am not saying Punto should play everyday, but maybe instead of Cruz and his weak-ass bat, they should play Punto twice a week and maybe Hairston a game or two.

Bodie's best chance to look good here is if 93Devil comes along and tried to make a point.

Perhaps because the 3,212 plate appearances he's accumulated throughout his career and the stats he's put up during that span are a lot more indicative of future success than the 37 he has in 2013?

Think Bodie has been trying the Balzac approach. Testy.

Nah, it's just I watch the games while others rely on some made up stats. There is no substitute for actually watching games.

Getting jumped on by ND who talks about his fantasy team is laughable. He knows less about baseball than my six-year old nephew.

Made up stats? He's really scorching the ball, huh? One double in 30 at-bats being his only base hit.

Only base hit? What about the other 12 I mentioned?

You guys cling to the stats. I'll watch the games.
