You're not making this much fun. Anyway, I have to go to bed. We'll catch up at a later date. But let's keep this between us, OK? I won't tell CB; you don't tell your sock. Deal?

Shouldn't someone be cueing up "One Shining Moment?"

Bodie, there are few people on this board who think as little of alphabet boy as I do and nobody would ever say I was among SportsJournalists.com's chosen few, but you're way off on this one. You aren't being piled on because of who you are. You are being piled on because you are stubbornly sticking to a terrible argument. I'm beginning to wonder if ND Journalist asked a good question for once when he asked if you were trolling us. You can't really be serious about this, can you?

Punto is a scrub. At best, he's a decent 25th man because he's versatile. His greatest value is that IJAG's obsession with him provides some humor on occasion.

And really, please, just stop going on about what guys did six or seven years ago. Punto had a .321 on-base percentage in 2012, which is actually slightly below his career mark of .327. No team has been weak and desperate enough to give him over 400 at-bats since 2007, and his on-base percentage was under .300 that year. Even Schumaker is better. The only thing dumber than basing a judgement only on the numbers through the end of April is ignoring those, too, when it suits you to trust your eyes.

The 2013 season will end well. This... this won't end well. :)

Don't you start. It's bad enough I'm agreeing with you and ND on this one. All we need now is Ruckus and Zag to join in the piling on Bodie and I'll really want to puke.

    :)

All I know is IJAG would be pissed if Punto was mentioned this much and there weren't pics, so I thought I'd better save us all some grief.

Joe Mauer went five games without a hit last week. First time he's done so, I believe. Soft, he is.

I feel like we were one step from Bodie challenging Consonants to an actual fight. That still happens on the Internet?

Judging from his earlier performance, I'm guessing he'd challenge CB instead.

    This is true.
But I wonder why you spike your posts.

Why the fuck does anyone care about posts?
I fight a lot here. I don't need a fossil record of it.
