Jays send Josh Johnson to the DL, Ricky Romero will be recalled from Dunedin to start Friday. Last night Mark Buerhle looked like a guy who wants to be anywhere but the AL East right now. Scuttlebutt up here now that he might be headed to Philly, maybe for Utley.

 

Speaking of the Jays, I for one am completely shocked to see Melky Cabrera's .580 OPS and zero home runs. Who could have ever guessed that the new and improved steroid-free Melky wouldn't be the hitting machine of the previous two seasons?

 

....and a dumbass baserunning fuckup last night that I woudn't expect out of Huggy Jr's house league team.

Indeed, first thing I thought of. Rumours they also may go after Chase Headley but he will be looking for big bucks. Ownership might be a little gun shy about that after their ROI so far this season.
