If there was any doubt this clown was just trolling before, this should take care of it. Also, anyone who believes the NBA is fixed is stoopid.

See, that's where nobody would argue against a six-month suspension.

Game 7 prediction: Miami 94, San Antonio 87. MVP: LeBron James.

Sucks, but talent wins out in the end.

Here's the argument against a fix that I don't support. Well, there hasn't been a Game 7 every year, so it must be on the up and up.

Well, a reason why they might be having these when they have them is to salvage as much of a viewer base as possible. Anytime San Antonio is playing, it's going to have much lower ratings than some other cities. So if you go seven games, you get a ton of viewers simply because there are seven games and everyone loves a Game 7.

Look at the 2005 Finals: Detroit vs. San Antonio. Instant ratings saver.

The 2010 one is a bit of an outlier, but maybe that one naturally happened between two longtime rivals in Boston and Los Angeles.

Last year, you didn't need seven games. You had a series people were going to be excited to watch.

Game 7 means the winner wins the title, right? There's no Game 8?

Fuck, then. I had the Spurs in 9.

Why? What the hell makes OKC so much more exciting than San Antonio?

Depends if the NBA gets the outcome they want, if not it beocmes a best of 9.

Unless ABC/ESPN and David Stern decide otherwise. Did anyone really think Mr. Stern would step down with anything BUT a Game 7 between the most successful franchise of the last 15 years and the 4-time league MVP?

Truth be told, the league wanted the Lakers to make a Cinderella run to the Finals and play against the Heat, but once Kobe Bryant got hurt so bad he was out for the playoffs, San Antonio became the next best option. No way were they going to settle for Memphis vs. Indiana.

In what way would the NBA benefit from one team winning tonight over the other? Please expouse.

I mean, c'mon, it's June 20. This is the last possible day to play basketball without OFFICIALLY stretching into summer. Wimbledon starts next Monday and NFL training camps are only 5 weeks away, so that gives ESPN's chorus of talking heads something besides the Stanley Cup and Tour de France to talk about.

The league will benefit financially from a Miami victory. Miami is the bigger and sexier market and has more marketable star players in LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. They will sell more jerseys, shoes and expand the appeal of the league internationally.

Then they can build next season on "Can the Heat 3-peat?" It's similar to the affect Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls had in the 1990s with six championships built around one or two star players. The NBA is all about selling star power and Miami has more star power. So the league looks better when they win.
