49ers fourth-round pick Quinton Patton, so eager to get going, buys a plane ticket from Nashville and shows up at the team facility. But they have to send him back home because he isn't allowed to participate until May 10.

“The fact that he would buy his own ticket, fly out here, just to me speaks volumes about him,” Harbaugh said. “I mean, to be honest with you, he reminds me of me. That’s something I would have done.”

Jim Harbaugh's ego is the most powerful force in the NFL. He's awesome.

What was he like when he was an average QB instead of a great coach?

He was still pretty awesome. He punched Jim Kelly in a pregame broadcast meeting for questioning his toughness.

I don't understand. Their last day of class isn't for two more weeks:

Why isn't he still in school?

He took the doctorquant-approved career path and decided there was a whole lot of money in skipping the last semester.

I know you're going for smarm, but he was a redshirt senior. Most football programs make it so that even their worst students graduate after four and a half years.

Yeah, as a Niners fan, I love the guy. Although I'd love him a little bit more if they had won in February.

Geno Smith will meet with CAA next week to talk representation. Only question is: Will Jay-Z show up?

How soon before we see Geno's Wonderlic score leaked. The next shoe to drop.
