And from a strictly kayfabe perspective, you'd think they other SuperstarsTM would realize, once the shock and awe factor wore off, that a lot of these guys flamed out on the rookie show, so why on earth would they be scared of them now just because they're aligned in a pack? At least with the Shield, we weren't shown them doing stupid stunts, losing to jobbers and getting told to pound salt a couple months ago. The only big stars to come out of Nexus were the two that spent the least time in it -- Bryan and SkipSheffieldBack. Jury's still out on the reimagined McGuillicutty and Husky, though damn do I have great expectations for Bray. Everyone else is mid-card, jobber or gone.

I really wanted the Nexus angle to succeed so much, but it was doomed once all that stuff started happening. And then the Punk-led Nexus came along and was gold, but was gone rather quickly.

Or buried on NXT like Mason Ryan, another guy Vince was high on when he first came up.

They've tried to jumpstart Barrett's push a couple of times already, and it hasn't happened for one reason or another. Bryan has already had a run with Goldie and SkipSheffBack has been in the biggest feud on Raw for several weeks now.

Who the hell cares about the other guys at this point? Certainly not Vince and company.

I know people shit all over the endless plugging if the WWE App, but I like using it. I actually like watching matches, so seeing the match during the commercial break is awesome. I'm sure The E's advertisers love it.

But, when the match is on TV, I'm not going to watch the app to see Tensai, Brodus, and Ryder stand around and make awkward conversation. Those guys can't improv, and they sure as hell can't be working from a script. Awful.

The endless plugging of it has got to stop. Every freaking commercial break, Cole has to mention it. Enough already.

The 6-man tag is hard to follow. Daniel Bryan is hotter than hell. Crowds everywhere get behind the guy louder than anyone else. That top-rope move was sick.

  10. Early thoughts on tonight's Raw before I switch over to Game 7:

Great crowd. They're really into it.

Also, a serious question: Who in the WWE is more over than Daniel Bryan right now? I really don't think anyone that's going right now is. And only when Punk returns will it even be close.

    No one is.

He has the entire crowd behind him at just about every show nowadays, and it's freaking awesome.

  12. Man, what a show Bryan put on tonight. THey're actually playing this angle for him pretty well. And while I am glad they are letting the Shield keep its momentum, it was downright hard to not want Bryan to get the pin there. Just a tour de force of wrestling. Outstanding.
