Punk fought his way out of the Walls, then hit Jericho with two GTS's for the win. First one sent Jericho staggering into the corner, he came back out all groggy like and then Punk hit the second one.

Forget the Del Rio win/double turn, forget the Shield, forget Punk's return, forget the RVD announcement. This was the moment of the show. Want to be more hardcore than simply being a Paul Heyman guy? Do what this guy did tonight:

Dumb line fed to Cole about Bundy interfering in a Hogan/Savage lumberjack match and squashed Hogan. It wasn't a LJ match, and it was on SNME with Hogan against Muraco. Fuji was "sick", so Heenan agreed to manage Muraco for the night. Heenan got caught with Hogan, Bundy made the save, etc.

And have I said yet how I hate lumberjack matches. They've been the same for the past 40 years.

OK, cool end to the first fall. Ryback stuck in the STF, grabs Cena, stands up, and puts him in Shell Shock.

Sure, in 1983, or maybe even 1993.

    Now? Meh. Roof is gimmicked.

    Pretty good PPV.

I didn't care about the Main Event, but at least Cena threw Ryback into the ambulance. That was somewhat cool.

    Punk-Jericho delivered, of course.

    7 out of 10

7 out of 10? We must not have watched the same show.

Am I too high or too low?

I didn't love the main event. Everything else leading up to it was fine. That's a 7 in my book.

Meanwhile, the most noteworthy thing to happen tonight (yes, even more noteworthy than the Benoit shirt) is a series of Tweets from Mark Henry heavily suggesting that his Raw return is to announce his retirement. Hope it's a swerve, but he's been injury-prone and at his size and age, that's only going to get worse.

Shame if it's for real, because his character really peaked at the end of his career.
