So if the argument was a shoot, what is next for Bryan? Clearly my guy Mark Henry is getting the next shot at Cena. And Bryan isn't in the Zig/ADR picture. Where does he go from here? Is there something with Trips that could come from the "shoot" argument?

 

Better to wait and see how MITB shakes out before asking that question. He seems to be on the short list of favorites to win one of the briefcases. We could well see Bryan-Cena at Summerslam.

 

Ugh, I don't want to see Bryan/Cena. It's not a big deal to me whether Bryan is a face or heel, I just don't want him to be used as fodder for Cena. No way Bryan is allowed to pin or submit Cena.

 

Flair and Piper filmed an episode of ABC's Celebrity Wife Swap. Airs June 30. I'll watch because I love Piper. Now, imagine if this had happened 25 years ago. I'm not sure they'd be able to show much on TV.

If you read the dirt sheets like I do, he's not going to be used as fodder for Cena. They've got big plans for Bryan this summer, which is why everyone was freaking out when he got hurt Monday night.

And from what I've read, it's not necessarily a lock Cena will beat Henry at MITB. Rumors floating around saying creative is toying with several ideas of Henry winning the belt and being a short-term champion before really hanging them up.

But that's just pure speculation at this point.

ETA: Also heard rumors of Vince tabbing Heyman to take over as head of creative. Not sure if there's any truth to that or not, but I guess it could be a reason why Raw was so good Monday night.

 

Oh please let this happen. Henry getting a short run leading into Bryan as WWE champion would be pretty much ideal for me.

 

Just finished RAW and if I were playing booker, Bryan wins the WWE title over either Cena or Henry at Summerslam ... cleanly. I doubt it will happen but it would cement him as a top-tier guy in the company which is a level that, right now, he's at but in danger of falling from if they don't book him the right way this summer.

I was just about to post this myself. Pretty sad, especially with his daughter's death.

For all the crazy "Sheiky baby" stuff he does, I sometimes wonder if some of it is as a result of that tragedy. Anyone who loses a child is never the same again.

 

And The Rock, yes, that guy, will grace the cover of WWE 2K14.
