Went to Smackdown tonight. Decent show but incredibly boring main event. And it looks like RVD hasn't lost a step at all. Glad to see that.

I've always wondered: how many shows are taped and how long are you there because of multiple tapings?

Randy Orton injured in match with Del Rio. Sustakin ed a cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia. Neuropraxia is what led to Edge retiring.

If he's out any length of time, he may have to do a Kennedy (Kennedy!) thing and drop the briefcase in a 20 second match.

  5. If that's a bad injury, that really sucks for Orton. They finally trust him enough to put him back in the mix for the title and likely give him the title again and a couple days later, he's hurt. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Orton says, "Not so fast, my friend."

I wonder if maybe the injury is what the WWE said but it's not as bad as Edge.

In other news, Jericho is done for now. He wrestled Curtis Axel at the Smackdown taping last night, then he's hitting the road with Fozzy again.
Took a parting shot at Rock and Lesnar on his way out the door, too.

I don't get people hating on Jericho for doing this. That's been the plan each time he's come back in the last few years: wrestle for a few months, summer tour with his band, take a little more time off in the fall/winter, then make a surprise return around Mania time.

The man deserves it. And he's right about Rocky and Brock. People don't get as mad at them as they do Y2J.

I've seen tons of people on the net shit on Rocky.

It still doesn't come close to the amount of people who get upset when Jericho takes a leave. Fans have -- for the most part, anyway -- been quicker to forgive and forget with Rocky.

I don't shit all over the Rock for leaving. I shit on him for coming back and injecting himself in title programs and main events in the first place. =)

Yeah, yeah, Jericho did that two years ago with Punk, but he put Punk over. Rocky puts over Rocky.
