No kissing of the feet, but he did put me in the Million Dollar Dream ... night made!

For someone who played one of the most despicable villains in wrestling history, Ted DiBiase couldn't be a nicer man. I've never seen someone autograph and take pictures for basically 5 hours, with a couple short breaks, greeting everyone like they were the first one in line.

And as I was standing there, I overheard a few conversations ... one talking about Ted Jr. As we know, he's doing dark matches. They're probably going to reintroduce him somehow in the next couple months or so ... and Ted opined that the E completely botched Jr.'s character after Legacy (which doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize).

Former wrestler Brian McGhee, who apparently had a cup of coffee with WWE, was arrested on murder charges in Tampa. Stabbed his ex-girlfriend, posted a picture of his cut arm on Facebook, then led cops on a high speed chase that ended in a car wreck.
Article says the guy wrestled as D.T. Porter, Donovan Ruddick, and "The Future," and was toward the bottom of PWI's Top 500 list. He got released from WWE in 2012. I've never heard of the guy. I assume he was in FCW/NXT at one point?

He was in developmental apparently, but I don't remember him at all.

I don't know, I would've liked to have seen Tom Hanks take a 2x4 upside the little brat boy, Stillwell.

  8. Ha! Thanks. I've had that quote on here for years and never noticed the error.

Raw tonight was OK again. Good Christian/Del Rio match. The Wyatts actually got a little pop when Bray announced "We're here". Cena/Ryback tables match was so-so.

Afterward, they had on the first episode of "Total Divas". I found it, dare I say, actually pretty interesting. Natalya was pissed for having to babysit the two new girls at Wrestlemania. One Funkadactlyl got into an argument with Brodus at rehearsal (off-camera) over some screw-up, and her boyfriend, who was backstage, nearly was going to fight him. They ended the episode with showing the Funkadactlyls and the Bellas all upset for getting bumped from the card.

Taped Raws are always so weird because they're not going to advance major angles very much, particularly when you're doing two Raws and two Smackdowns in a four-day period, as they did. Smackdown this week is apparently wrestling-heavy and almost devoid of emotion because everyone was dead from the run.

They're doing a good job with building the Wyatt Family up and keeping them up without having them suddenly involved in the top of the card. It'd be nice if Bray could do a new promo leading into the lantern blowout, like he did for their debut. The followers need a little work on the in-ring stuff, particularly Rowan. Luke Harper is supposed to be a pretty solid wrestler with indy cred as Brodie Lee, but at least so far, he hasn't shown it (or more likely hasn't been given the opportunity to show it). Beating down Kane and Tons of Funk establishes their bona fides as monsters, but they could really use a Mysterio or Evan Bourne to bump like a superball for their high-impact moves.

  11. With the exception of Punk a couple years ago, I can't remember anyone hotter with the crowds than Daniel Bryan is right now. Man, fans love that guy.
