Yeah, and in the past the WWE liked to schedule "piss break" or breather matches between the biggest matches on the card, just to give the crowd 10 to 15 minutes to recover. However, I think this is mostly taken care of by the really long entrances and exits to those main event Mania matches now.

I'm a cynic. And I'm sure no one watching was worried about that match getting bumped. It wasn't even a SmackDown-quality match. A Kaitlyn/AJ Divas title match would have at least been interesting. It's the best Divas feud they've had in a few years.

Building on Bradley's post: Instead of getting two matches -- Dolph vs. Big E and AJ vs. Kaitlyn -- for Summer Slam, we're going to get a mixed tag match featuring those four. Guess they don't have enough time for both.

    Oh well.

Because I'm too lazy to look it up this minute, here's what I know of the SummerSlam card:

Cena vs. Bryan for the title
Del Rio vs. Christian for the title
    Punk vs. Lesnar
... uh, I'm lost after the big three. I would hope Ziggler, Orton, RVD, Shield would get spots.

Kane vs. Bray in a "ring of fire" match -- essentially an inferno match, just PG-ized.
Dolph and Kaitlyn vs. AJ and Big E.
    Rhodes vs. Sandow.

Is Rhodes vs. Sandow for the MITB contract? I know it's a ladder match.

SmackDown. Another strong show. Orton/RVD was solid, as was Del Rio/Christian. Even the PPV-builder segments weren't bad. Loved the Lesnar promo. I think the mixed tag benefits the Divas more as it allows one of the better Divas feuds continue to fester rather than burn up too quickly. And when't the last time two Divas had their own shirts? Female fans must be buying more merch for themselves, and not just Cena shit.

Damn, I just know VKM is trolling us with a Bryan championship.

Kane and Bray Wyatt are having a match. It was implied to be an inferno match, but I don't think it's been confirmed as such yet.

Cesaro and RVD are having the preshow match.

I think Shield is wrestling Henry and the Usos, but I don't know for sure.

Ziggler/kaitlyn and Big E/AJ is happening

I don't think Sandow-Rhodes is a ladder match. They haven't announced that yet, if that's the direction they're going.

Too lazy to post a link, but Sheamus is out for at least six months with a shoulder injury. Screwed somethingup at MitB. Wonder if he called 1-800-FELLA to get Dr. Andrews?

    KY, say something stupid. </Lesnar>

I see what you did there.

The Sheamus injury is a shame. He was, I believe, finally getting some footing and was heading for a big push for one of the belts.

He's been floating a bit. He got a great run last year as the face of SmackDown and WHC. Once he lost that, he drifted into a few big matches against the Shield ... then? He should turn heel when he gets back.

I'm really glad you got the joke, I didn't want you to think I was being a real dick, at least not in this instance.
