2013 Pro Wrestling Thread

They've had the title defended like every week now for three months and I don't think we've seen an actual match yet.

 

CM Punk is so damn good. Him losing the title may end up making him better.

 

It doesn't matter what they write for him, he makes it awesome. I was absolutely rolling when he told the Rock that if he had any respect for his father and grandfather he'd walk up and hand the title back to Punk with an apology for taking it without earning it.

And of course, part of what makes it work is how much truth he laces it with. "In 20 years, you'll be calling me a genius" and talking about all the nights he'll be doing house shows while the Rock is nowhere to be found.

 

I just loved the digs at The Rock, with Punk outlining his weekend itinerary of where he was wrestling (without saying that Rock wouldn't be there).

 

This episode is the reason why I'll never attend a Raw or Smackdown ever again.

 

I gots to get me a Lite-Brite coat.

 

The crowd's hotter'n hell for Jericho. I wouldn't mind if he won a Rumble at this stage of his career. He never won it.

 

At what point does Y2J call AJ a brutal, bottom-feeding, trash-bag ho?

 

Trish in the Hall. Maybe Tensai will induct her.

 

Maddox selling out Heyman is kind of a cute way of doing this. I'm amused.
