2013 Pro Wrestling Thread

OK, 2 things so far:

1. Ryback comes down to save Foley ... who bails out of the ring? The "Hardcore Legend" couldn't help the guy out against The Shield?

2. Fun little montage of 20 years of gimmicks, including a few bars of ... "He's a Mannnn".

 

That Foley/Rock/Vicki segment was fun.

Foley telling his kids on the phone, "I know it looked like Daddy was scared, but I was getting ready to handle it."

Vicki to Mick: "You're in the Hall of Fame? They should have done what they did in baseball and not elect anybody!"

Rock: "Mick, trust me."
Foley: "You rock-bottomed me last year."
Rock: "Eh, nobody remembers that."

 

Didn't we just do all this nostalgia back in July?

 

Yeah, but now it's the 20th anniversary.

The clips are fun and all, but what they really should do is bring back some of the, well, still-living, guys from the first Raw. It does feel like I've just seen these clips.

The Flair/Miz segment was also pretty funny.

Cesaro: "You made $10 million in your career, and you've spent $20 million ... "

Flair: "$30 million."

And one clip complaint. Even though he's now in TNA, how the hell didn't they show the Angle/milk truck scene in the vehicle montage?

 

I thought that segment was great.

 

I thought the same thing because it provided this great line:

"The Billion-Dollar Princess has become the Dairy Queen!"

That and "Stasiak, what an idiot!"

I missed the beginning of Raw. Apparently, there was a Damien Demento sighting. My apologies.

 

I'm upset that Repo Man was left out of the wackiest gimmicks segment.

The guy who repossesses your car? That's a heel character if I ever saw one.

 

Oh yeah, might as well admit I giggled and pointed like a child when Punk cut his promo while walking through the Alabama end zone at Sun Life Stadium last week. Tee hee! </mark>

 

I'm going to call Dwayne "The Schlock" from now on.

Edit: Ok, that segment with Vickie was damn funny.

Uh, also, Eve dropped the title because she is legitimately done with The E. Soooo is there anyone credible left for the yummy Kaitlyn to feud with? Turn Layla? Put AJ back in matches?
