    Well, nice job, LSU.

Still doesn't mean LSU automatically gets ranked of a team that beat Akron by 55 -- unless you're prepared to downgrade LSU when it plays its annual shitheel 1-AA team in November. That's a computer poll would do.

A couple of these SEC schools that are in the preseason top 10 are going to finish with 4 or 5 losses.

That's not likely to happen to Alabama, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it happened to Florida, Georgia or South Carolina.

Georgia might but Murray is going to throw for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I've really enjoyed meeting the voters.

How the bleep Texas is in anyone's top ten can only be a product of too many hours spent watching The Longhorn Network propaganda machine.

Hi, I'm Xan. I grew up in Long Beach, California, the greatest city on the west coast, and loved USC football. During my rooting years they were never "elite great" until Carroll took over. Oh, there were some great Rose Bowl seasons, and big disappointments, and moments that you can never forget such as this one:

Nothing like USC-UCLA and USC-Notre Dame games.

Alabama was always my second favorite team, still is.

Enjoyed Texas A&M a bit during the mid-'80s.

One of the few who rooted for Long Beach State, too, but you know ...

I would be surprised if it's more than one. Last season, five started in the top 10, and only Arkansas went worse than 10-3, plus Florida and Texas A&M both went 11-2.

As for which one? Georgia has its toughest schedule in years but also has one of the five best quarterbacks in the country and a deep offense in general. South Carolina and Florida have relatively favorable schedules. Texas A&M's schedule seems fake outside of divisional matchups and a home game against Vanderbilt sandwiched between the Commodores' games against Georgia and Florida.

Alabama's schedule is pretty favorable, too. At aTm and LSU at home are the only two threats I see.
