This just in: Alain Vigneault and his team are pieces of shit.

"It wasn't even a penalty (until Toews said something."

Oh, fuck you and your goon squad. I'd like to see anyone look at that play and say he was reaching for the puck or it wasn't intentional.

I watched the same game and there is absolutely no question the fights turned momentum in the Stars' favor. As I posted earlier, Lehtonen had been injured and Henrik Sedin had Rogers Arena rocking.

But it was Dallas that got out of there with the two points.

EDIT: I still don't get your point earlier pertaining to fights off the opening faceoff.

I was watching that game too and the best part about it was all three of the Stars were playing on the same line that night.

Barry Trotz now the elder statesman of NHL coaches. Pretty amazing he's been the only coach the Predators have known.

Hansen suspended for a game. I have a feeling he'll meet the business end of Bollig or Mayers' fists in the next matchup.

Helluva game tonight between the Pens and Flyers which Phillie won 6-5 on a last minute goal scored on Vokoun from behind the freakin' goal line.

It looked like it was going to to OT.

Flyers Wayne Simmonds, a JJ guy (played for Owen Sound) had two goals, an assist and one helluva fight.

If I had bought a ticket for the St. Louis-Colorado game, I'd be in someone's kitchen demanding a refund or raincheck right now. This may have been the most borrrrrr-ing NHL game I've seen in 10 years. Not only is it scoreless after three periods, there haven't even been many decent scoring chances. Lots of shots from the point, dump it in, dump it out, turn it over in the neutral zone. Only three minor penalties in 60 minutes.

St. Louis might have an excuse, playing its third game in four nights, with two trips in between. Colorado hadn't played since Monday, at that was also at home.

    YAWN!!!!

That was a fun, wild game to watch. NHL needs more games like that.
