Kings score five unanswered to win 6-4. Better believe some St. Louis fans will be begging for a Jake Allen recall.

Chicago is obviously the best team in a league right now, but L.A. has been getting its swagger back.

    Thanks for that Kings.

If Detroit of St. Louis won out, the Blackhawks would just need to win 16 of their final 25 to clinch the division anyway.

If the two teams were still playing at the level they are right now, I would love to see a Chicago-L.A. playoff series.

And a rare game where all four goalies played.

Hawks honored Marian Hossa for his 1,000th game tonight. Hossa's wife is HOT.

Another thing I took away from that game is as post-game television analysts go, Daryl Evans is a hall of famer and Bernie Federko is not.

I didn't get to watch last night, but that seemed to be a hell of a win for the Caps. They'll be dangerous if they can get into the playoffs. They're starting to feel Oates' system. 2-8-1 start, 7-3 since. Five points out of the eight seed.

Is Montreal's Josh Gorges going to become the NHL's first openly gay player?

Yes, it is good for the league when Toronto and Montreal are competitive. But, man, their fans are obnoxious. Sometimes I find myself rooting against them just to stick it to the fans.

I understand that there are generations of fans for those teams, particularly in eastern Canada, because they were around long, long before the Senators, Flames, Oilers, Jets and Canucks came along. So I suspect lots of people in rural Canada adopted one of those teams as their own.

But, yeah, the league is better when Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Philly, the Rangers, Detroit and Chicago have good teams.

Good to know gay bloggers are just as irresponsible as straight ones...

And in the Leafs/Sens game Frazer McLaren knocks out Dave Dziurznski in a fight 36 seconds into the game.

Sorry, Don Cherry, players DO get hurt in fights. No reason for this one
