Jagr has two goals, Dallas leads in Los Angeles 4-2 midway through the third. Let's see if the Stars can nurse this one home. That's been a struggle.

No celebrations from this Wings fan. I'd rather have them in the Norris instead of the Adams

Easier travel for Wings in Eastern time zone. Beats having to travel to Phoenix, San Jose, Vancouver for playoffs.

Getzlaf gets 8 years, $8.25 million per.

I do like Getzlaf, but you'd think a first-line centre making that much money would have had a 20-goal season since 2009. Or maybe even one season with more than 25 goals.

This means Bobby Ryan is gone as trade fodder, yes?

I think more than anything it means Perry is gone.

Thanks. Perry is who I meant. Ryan is in the middle of a contract extension, right?

Ryan is in the middle of a 5 year deal. There have been rumours of him being traded for years. If by chance they do sign Perry then I would think they would have to move Ryan.

They now have 64.3 mil committed to next year's cap. Perry is good as gone, could also see Hiller gone as well now that they've antied up for Fasth, but their is not a large market for goalies right now.

They are only at 44.5 from the site I read. They aren't a cap team anyways, they will receive a revenue sharing cheque this year.
