Haven't checked but I think in the last 48-game season, Jagr and Lindros led wth 70 points. Mind you, 94-95 was the onset of the dead puck era but it's still a decent comparison.

Pens down 2-0 in the third and come back to beat the Bruins 3-2 in OT .

Leafs lose to the Jets...that's the first 3 losses in a row for Toronto

Ducks win again, 2-1, at Minnesota, scoring twice in the third. Corey Perry got a game-misconduct early in the second (justified), but the Ducks killed off a bunch of penalties, including the major. Patrick Maroon had two-third of a Gordie Howe hat trick (goal, fight). Viktor Fasth was supposed to start in goal, but was hurt in the morning skate. Jeff Deslauriers recalled from Fort Wayne, but couldn't get to Minny in time, so they signed a local goalie coach, Zach Sikich, to a one-day contract to open the door.

Perry gets four-game suspension. Suspension is justified, but four games is too many.

Not fot that piece of shit Perry it's not. He's done it before, for once the league gets it right.

Although, with how inconsistent the league is with its punishments SoCal can make a hell of a case that it is too much.

    Still, fuck Cory Perry.

Perry gets as much as he gives. But so do most of the guys who go to the net.

Apparently the annual Jarome Iginla trade rumors are heating up again. This might the year he actually does get moved.

They need to go wholesale on their changes, this means Kipper, Bouwmeester, Cammalleri, etc. have some friendswho are flames fans and I have never seen them so depressed over the state of the franchise. And it's not like they have a whole lot in the system right now coming. BUT if they can move some of their big players, it would kickstart a rebuild in a big way.

Chicago's Jonathan Toews making a serious run for the Hart Trophy. I know Patrick Kane has more goals, but I'm just more and more impressed at how complete a player Toews is: shooting, passing, faceoffs, defense. Two goals tonight.

The Hawks are strollin' in the Stars' colon tonight. It's 5-0 with 5 minutes left in the second. A Dallas defender actually got nutmegged on the fifth goal.
