I came along when Vancouver had the red, yellow and black, so took a liking to that. But a little after the V-neck. I had never even seen photos of those red ones before.

Did anyone lose the feed of the Philly-Tampa game on the NBC Sports Network? Went dark in the second intermission, all of my tvs and the only station to be dark, so I know it's not my cable.

Nice to listen to Gord Miller again.

I was watching that game on TSN. .

TSN quite often does the NBC feed. Didn't realise until later in the second or so that Gord was calling the game for NBC. Great announcer. Calls ALL the games on TSN during the World Junior Hockey Championship

Best moment during tonight's game when all around shit disturber Scott Hartnell mugs Bolt's Cory Conacher with a shove to the boards, a cross check to the head and when Conacher tries to get up, another shot to the head. Gets 2 minutes for roughing and Gord quips, "Two minutes on general principle".

Well, it made me laugh. :)

He also does CFL games on TSN.

Oh, and Tampa won 4-2. Stamkos got his 200th career goal.

And Corey Perry signs a seven year deal with the Ducks, reportedly $8.625 a year.

Good deal for all parties it would seem

So that's three players taking up, what, $23M, $24M?

Gotta give the Ducks full credit for signing Perry. Thought for sure he was a goner after the Getzlaf signing. Easy thing to do would have been to maximize his value in prospects. I do like it when the lower budget teams like this ante up to keep their players and not let them walk in free agency to teams like the Rangers.

I still think they move Hiller if they can in the off season, should be a couple of teams looking for a goalie. He could also be amnestied. Also keep in mind Selanne is likely done at the end of the year and Koivu, 38, may be done as well. Both are in the final year of their contracts, and Selanne nearly retired at the end of last season. If all three are gone that's $12 million off the books right there, and more in cap space -- although I don't think they ever become a cap team. If Koivu comes back, it's got to be at a discount from the $3 mil he's making this year.

We're in the minority, Mark, but I liked them too.

Blackhawks at Ducks tonight. Ducks won earlier this season in Chicago, 3-2, in a shootout. Yesterday they started selling SRO tix at Honda Center.

Apparently the best ever combined winning percentage of any two teams facing in the regular season after 25 games or more.

Haven't seen Anaheim yet this year. Anyone got any impressions?

I know about Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan, Selanne, Koivu, etc., but I thought the defense was supposed to be weak.

Sounds like the majority of those tickets were bought by Hawk fans
