I can name about 10 better. Didn't he just allow five goals two days ago? In a loss?

And if the Leafs keep allowing 35-40 shots/game, they won't be in the playoffs long.

You might be able to name three or four

Yeah, he had a bad game against the Islanders in a 5-3 loss on Thursday night

Earlier in the week, Leafs were outshot 32-11 and won 2-0 against the Devils with Reimer in net.

Reimer's 6th in the league in Save %.

Craig Anderson, with the best GAA in the league, looked like Patrick Lalime tonight

In a first round match-up against either Montreal or Boston I'll take Reimer over Price and against Rask it's probably a wash.

It's a good thing the Leafs went out and got Luongo . . .

So save percentage is the final arbiter of a good goalie? Good to know.

    Better goalies than James Reimer:

Anderson, Bobrovsky, Niemi, Rask, Lundqvist, Schneider, Jimmy Howard.

He's statistically on par with Corey Crawford and Ray Emery.

So I guess you got me. I could only name seven.

BTW, Pekka Rinne is better, too, even if stats don't reflect that this year.

Save % isn't the final arbiter. But it's more accurate than GAA

On your list I'll give you Anderson & Lundqvist. That''s two :)

Anyway it's almost the playoffs Leafs Loser Fanboi here will be in high gear.

Ruckus, be prepared for many more of these broad sweeping statements of Maple Leafs awesomness. It's why the rest of Canada will wish they are blind and deaf by the time the first round is over. At least down in Amurica, it has to be easier to ignore.

I'm more curious why JR added an i in my post in Pekka Rinne's name.

I have this curious keyboard that seems to have a life of its own. Let's leave it at that

The Rangers are playing well recently and their scoring looks to be balanced....probably due to Richards getting his touch back. Solid all around team and might be a sleeper in the playoffs but need a better seeding, like 7th or 6th. I have Stepan in a hockey pool and he's been on fire.

I agree. I like the Rangers a lot as a dark horse. I think they win out in the regular season, get the No. 6 seed and a matchup with Washington in the first round.

With guys like Richards, Nash, Callahan, Clowe, Lundqvist, etc., they could be this season's LA Kings.

Gotta admit, I was pretty down on the Caps after that 2-8-1 start, and rightfully so. Wasn't part of the "trade Oveckhin" club, but I was losing patience. Nice turnaround to win that division, however shitty it may be. If I had my choice of who I'd like to see in the first round, it would go 1) Isles 2) Sens 3) Rangers. ... Isles just because of their relative lack of playoff experience.
