Would you prefer Mike Milbury and Keith Jones?

Blues outshooting the Wings 17-2 in the first period as Detroit is struggling to do much of anything, trouble clearing, trouble setting up on power plays, trouble stopping St. Louis in the neutral zone.

EDIT: and now it's 3-0 as Vladimir Taresenko has two goals on two shots in his NHL debut

6-0 now. Love seeing the Blues bitchslap Detroit. "We want the Cup" chants in St. Louis on opening night is great to hear -- providing we don't see the traditional playoff choke job.

As a Stars fan, I couldn't have been more impressed with Jaromir Jagr tonight. Two goals, two assists and an immediate chemistry with Loui Eriksson in a 4-3 win over Phoenix.

My comment wasn't about replacements. And Jones is OK. Milbury is a clown.

And while we're at it, HNIC should get rid of PJ Stock

At 41 Jagr can still bring it. Did he have his mullet? :)

Schneider out after allowing three goals in 3:04. Luongo in. A Canucks fan is moving in with me soon. This should be a fun season.

Canucks will play 5 games in next 9 days. I wonder if there will be a goalie controversy in Vancouver?

Oh, and Leafs beat the Habs 2-1 in their opener in Montreal. Now all the loser Leafs haters will start in about "they're planning the parade"

    Kevin Weekes is the worst

    I don't agree. Weekes's worst fault is that he's Greg Millen-ish. Bland

PJ Stock & Healy had a pissing match all night and Healy reminds me of that angry guy in a bar who's ready to start a fight at the drop of the puck. That said, I'd still take him over PJ who's just a loudmouth

Problem is there are too many guys on that panel. Five, including Ron. Drop one and give Elliotte more air time.
