Tomorrow? I think Amaker has put himself back in this discussion.

Johnny Dawkins needs a few more wins this year and a few more years like this to be in this discussion.

Chris Collins needs some seasoning and may be why K will hold on for a few more years

Wojo would be a great hire ---- for all those who hate Duke.

But if it were tomorrow and Amaker said no, I think Jeff Capel would get promoted

At least Doherty didn't have to go overseas to find a job, although I don't think he's had one for the last two years.

My suspicion: If Shaka wants to go back to Wisconsin, he'll wait for Bo Ryan to retire.

The difference is that Doherty was just a shitty coach. Snyder was crooked.

I always suspected Brad Stevens would get the Duke job once K retired. Now, I'm not so sure.

I believe Wojo is the heir apparent at the moment.

Amaker has made a nice little comeback since his less than stellar days at Michigan. Collins is a definite maybe, depending on the timing.

If the AD there when K hangs it up is smart he won't limit the search to "family" or give K all the power to choose the next coach.

Well, Krzyzewksi could always do like Dean Smith did, and retire just before the season, so they have no choice BUT to give the job to his hand-picked guy.

But K would never do anything as calculated or manipulative as that.

As a Carolina fan, I am hoping that Duke AD Kevin White handles the replacing of Coach K with the same skill and aptitude that he displayed during his multiple Notre Dame football coaching searches.
