Howland would be a really bad fit.

I'm guessing Marshall and Miller will get calls. I wonder what job will finally be good enough for Shaka to leave VCU. It's not this one...

A friend who covers the SEC said Shaka would be Kentucky's first choice if Calipari leaves for the NBA. I'll believe that when it happens. :D

Do you Mizzou folks think this is a "one step ahead of the law" situation?

Perhaps. It might just be a "one step ahead of getting shitcanned" situation.

    Some strange movement this off-season.

    Marquette to Virginia Tech
    Missouri to Tulsa
    Tennessee to Cal

I think it's that. Finish the deal, Tulsa!

This is fantastic. And I don't know his contract situation, but I imagine this will save Mizzou a good amount of money in pay they would have had to give him after firing him next year.

Yeah, I'm actually more surprised Tulsa wants Haith than that Haith is leaving for Tulsa.

If Marshall goes to Missouri he can continue his favorite hobby of complaining about not being able to get Kansas on the schedule.

They should ask Marshall to name his price.

Based on what they reportedly offered Painter last time, this should not be an issue.

Wow. I had heard Quin Snyder was one of the names in play for Tulsa. I'm thinking even he would have been a better pick than Haith.

If MU doesn't get Marshall, who's next? Kim Anderson?

They better let Marshall name his price and grab him.

ESPN reporting Haith to Tulsa is done.

Alden has done a good job with the Mizzou football program, finding Pinkel and giving him time, but his bosses are fuckin' idiots if they let him make yet another basketball hire.
