Bucks owner says they won't take Embiid, because they want someone who will help right away.

I understand that thinking, but I don't really understand why he would admit this publicly, especially so soon after someone leaked that they want to take Parker at No. 2.

The report that seems plausible to me is that the Sixers will unload MCW to the Lakers for the seventh pick, and then take Exum third.

My guess would be they hope Embiid falls to 7, and then Nik Stauskas at 10.

That would be a pretty good move for both teams, although the Sixers will still suck next season unless Noel is a beast, and I don't really see him as a superstar from an offensive standpoint.

That move would crush my MCW/Sixers-loving son. Crush him.

Exum will be better than MCW. He might not win ROY next season, but he will be better than MCW.

Cavs reportedly leaning toward taking Parker. I've seen other stories that say they might want Exum.

It makes me wonder what they have against Wiggins.

It makes me think they will definitely pick Wiggins.

Wiggins is a bit more raw than Parker, who pretty much everyone thinks will be a 20 PPG scorer in the NBA almost immediately. However, Parker is seen as a bit more doughy without as much upside. Like best case scenario, he's Carmelo Anthony, a guy who you have a puncher's chance of winning with. Worst case, I guess he's someone like Glenn Robinson? A decent player, but not as good as the scoring numbers would have you believe. Wiggins might never score enough to be an all-star, but he's supposed to be a fantastic defensive player.

shows how much Baylor (and the other NCAA institutions) give a shit about the players if this diagnosis was made so quickly

Haven't read anything containing Baylor's comments how they let him play with such a dangerous disease.

It's not a disease, it's a genetic condition. And unless you have an echocardiogram or a full CAT scan, you don't pick up whether or not the condition has generated the dangerous expansion of the aorta.

still, why can the NBA pick this up on a pre draft physical but Baylor doesn't in 2 years of caring for the kid? Maybe since Baylor only has a scholarship invested in hi it's not cost effective. They deserve better health care

It seems to me like Wiggins skills fit better what the Cavs need. They have no one who can guard opposing wing players. And they have no one who can be consistent on offense without the ball in their hands. Wiggins definitely has room to grow as an offensive player, but you can easily imagine him being great when Kyrie bends defenses away from him.
