So, apparently Cleveland tried to bring Exum in for a last-minute workout, and he declined.

I'm wondering if A) The Sixers made a good enough offer to move up to No. 1 for Wiggins, and B) If Exum not working out would put the kibosh on a trade.

I'm guessing he just balked at going in at the last minute, on draft day.

Jeff Pearlman with a nice piece on Taj McDavid, the mystery high schooler not picked in the 1996 draft.

A few interesting stories out there...

Lakers and Kings may be trying to move up a couple spots to take Embiid.

Cavs calling around seeing what they could get for the No. 4, the No. 12 and Afflalo (proposed Orlando trade).

Kings trying to acquire Josh Smith and Rajon Rondo (apparently, they're friends).

If you're a team that has no chance at Carmelo or LeBron, it might not be a bad time to get a player from a team frantically trying to clear cap space.

Orlando trades Afflalo to Denver for Fournier and a second-rounder.

Whatever the Kings are offering, the Pistons should jump at this.

    Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams.

I think the only way this happens if Rondo winds up in Sacramento.

Me too. I've no clue why New Orleans would make that deal.

But what a move by Morey. In one transaction he just cleared cap space to make a run at Lebron AND stole a potential lottery pick in next year's draft.

I'm kinda bummed I'd been waiting since October to quote this post tonight, but Embiid went and got hurt.

Pretty solid prediction since few had heard of Embiid at that point.

The Cavs are asking for the No. 3, No. 10 and No. 32 from Philly for No. 1.

I doubt that happens, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Philly give up No. 3 and No. 10 to move up.
