I thought I saw some report that he leaves $40 million on the table if he goes anywhere but New York.

For $40 million I'd sign a contract to service Lindsay Lohan for 5 years

That's because of the Larry Bird acceptation.

So you'd have to be paid to service a good-looking actress with a great rack? :D

And "wind up with a dick that looks like a chicken wing"? Ain't no telling who's been there first, I doubt that her "I had sex with..." list is anywhere near the full list. It's not just her, it's her entire sexual history you're making it with.

I've heard they make little rubber things that can help with that.

Adam Silver is proposing mid-season NBA Tournaments. ???

Also, he wants to change the NBA Lottery.

    http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nba-lottery-reform-is-coming/

    Thoughts on both proposals?

I'm definitely a fan of any lottery reform.

The mid-season tournament would be good for television, but it has to be structured in a way where teams would be willing to play 4-5 games in a relatively short period of time. I don't know how you would do that. That's part of the problem with the NBA, almost every time you go to a game you risk seeing a team resting a starter or not giving 100 percent effort. The last time I went to a game, the road team was playing its second road game in as many days and I don't think any of the star players were on the court for more than 25 minutes.

If they do a 16-team tournament or something, they should start it on Christmas Day.

If he can find four owners willing to give up a home game...if these are "extra" games I can't really think of a coach who wouldn't use the chance to give his starters some time off.

What would be fun is having the last two teams from each conference play and the winner gets the top lottery pick.

I like that. It will never happen, but I like that.
