Of course, raising the issue of "should NBA players play international competitions" right after someone is badly injured makes about as much sense as talking about it after they win the gold medal.
Obviously a bad injury, but I wonder if it is worse long term than a blown out ACL or achilles.

But it might lose points because they didn't show it on an endless loop like they did Theismann.

The three that caused me to yell out as I watched them as a kid were Theismann, McCallum and Krumrie.

The thing that stood about Krumrie is that the angle was so clear. You could see his ankle snap and his foot flop around as he rolled over trying to make that tackle.

By the way, he started Week 1 the following year.

Yeah, McCallum had major arterial and nerve damage and was briefly in danger of bleeding to death internally as well as possible amputation.

Theismann's was so famous because it was one of the first to happen on national TV and because he was one of the biggest stars in the NFL.

I know Krumrie's was in a SB, and I think McCallum was on MNF as well, but as bad as Theismann's break was, seeing LT's reaction to it might have been what put me over the top.

    This is so ESPN:

    http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/24648682/report-wolves-cavs-have-handshake-agreement-on-wiggins-love-trade

To sum up, Windhorst reports the Cavs and Wolves have a Wiggins-for-Love deal in place, sort of, pending the next three weeks of inability to make a deal or be superseded by another deal, which may or may not include Thaddeus Young going to Minnesota and Anthony Bennett going to Philadelphia. And draft picks. Maybe. Sort of. Sources.

"The deal is done but not done." That's an exact quote.
