Thinking that The Knicks would be in the playoffs had they kept
    Randolph, Lee, Lin and Crawford.

Also, last night Frank Vogel referred to Roy Hibbert as his team's "anchor," except he didn't mean the device that keeps them from moving. From the postgame stuff shown on NBAtv last night, it appears anyone and everyone is trying to be positive with Hibbert to help him stay confident, but nothing is working. I know a confident Hibbert is needed by the time you get to Miami, but if Vogel keeps running him out there, the Pacers will never make it that far.

Of course, another problem is that George Hill has regressed in a major way. He's getting torched by Jeff Teague, who maybe should be the one introduced as the Hometown Hero at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

A guy who was playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 14 days ago -- Troy Daniels -- comes off the bench to hit the 3-pointer in OT that puts the Rockets right back into the thick of it. Poor Blazers.

Daniels played at VCU. Moddy just got excited and doesn't know why.

Daniels checked in only because Parsons fouled out.

Funny how the course of history is scripted sometimes. Maybe Parsons doesn't foul out and the Blazers, who had all the mo -- and 4-point lead -- in OT go on to win to take a 3-0 lead. The Rockets most certainly aren't coming back from that, especially when Dwight Howard is on your team.

And maybe the Blazers are feeling their oats and win the next series, and next and play for the title, and you never know, maybe they win it all and start a strong little run for several years.

Instead, the Rockets are back in it and maybe they come back to win the series, and the next and next, and play for the title -- etc etc -- and it's all because of some dude who was grinding away in the bowels of professional basketball 14 days ago.

Seems like something MacGregor should do a piece on.

Someone had a good line that the Pacers haven't been the same since Roy Hibbert retired

Geez, the Pacers insist on making things as difficult as possible.

Nene suspended for game 4, NBA wants the Chicago market more than the DC market

    Mavs up 2-1 on Spurs.

Grizzlies were up 12 going into the 4th, a chance to go up 3-1 on the Thunder, but lost in OT.

Heat outscored Bobcats 63-32 in the middle 24 last night, lead series 3-0.

Pacers and Hawks are going to make this a very boring 7-gamer.

Can the Nets be *any* more lethargic?

Pacers down 21 at home midway through the second period. This team needs a lobotomy.

LeBron takes over in the last few minutes of the 3rd with his shooting, passing and D. Up 13 at the end of 3.
