Beyond the three (possibly four) QBs who could go in the top 10, Clowney, Watkins, Barr, Robinson, Matthews, Mack, Dennard, Evans, Ebron and Mosely are the names you hear the most often for the top 10. Obviously, a lot can change between now and the draft.

hey will probably not have a QB available at #8 worth the #8 pick, so that sounds decent enough. They will be an outdoor team again, right? I would almost start to transition my lineup to a power running team since a shit ton of games will be played in the bitter cold in that division.

They could do a lot worse than Barr at No. 8. That seems too high for Derek Carr.

They are scheduled to play outdoors at TCF Bank Stadium for two years while the construction progresses on the new stadium.

As long as Adrian Peterson is on the roster and healthy, the running game will and should be the focal point of the offense. The problem last season was that the defense couldn't stop anyone and they were always behind, so Peterson didn't get as many touches as he did in 2012.

I'm not against changing QBs if you can get someone better, but I don't think you can afford to overlook real needs on defense, either. I hope they keep Jared Allen; I think he still has a couple of good years left. Of course, I'd love to get Jadeveon Clowney, but I'm not sure how much you'd have to give up in a trade to move up that high in the first round. Cordarelle Patterson shows some promise as a speed receiver; he just has to learn how to separate from defenders and get open. Might take a receiver with a later pick if Allen Robinson, Mike Evans or Marquis Lee is still on the board early in the second round.

It's a safe bet that unless Evans and Lee tear all three ligaments in both knees, neither is going to be on the board in the second round.

I could see Evans, Sammy Watkins, Lee, Cooks from Oregon State and Robinson all going in the first round. But that's a lot of guys at one position, so someone might fall to the second round.

Any running backs go in the first round? Tre Mason from Auburn looks like a potential star, maybe Andre Williams, too. But the trend in recent years seems to be not to take running backs so high in the draft.

I fear that next football season all the losers that have been wearing a number 8 jersey with duct tape over the original name with the name Schaub written on the duct tape with a Sharpie will remove said duct tape and now their 11-year old jersey will be applicable again. Ugh.

It surprises me that Mason isn't considered a first-rounder at this point.

I might be forgetting someone, but I think of the first five running backs who were taken in the 2013 draft, three appear to be very good picks (Lacy, Bernard and Bell), Monte Ball was OK and I don't think I saw Christine Michael on the field in most of the Seattle games I saw. I don't know if he was injured or what.

4 for 5 on guys who went in the second-round is pretty good.

Seattle has a couple of pretty good backs ahead of Michael.

I was pretty surprised when they took him in the second round. The Seahawks seem to be doing OK at that position despite him... :)

Wasn't Long Term Listener touting that Michael should have been a first
    round pick early in season.
