They may be seeing if they can get the Browns to bite on a trade. After all, if a franchise will hire Kyle Shanahan as OC and give him a 3-year-contract, why wouldn't they give up the Colts pick to move from No. 4 to No. 1? :D

Hey, as a fanboi, if it meant getting Bridgewater, I'd make the #4 and #26 for #1 trade in a heartbeat.

Well, now that Kyle Shanahan is involved, it will be the No. 4 pick, the No. 26 pick and next year's No. 1... :D

Kiper declares Manziel as the consensus top QB.

Does Kiper rank and rate players by where they should be drafted (his opinion of the quality of the player) or does he predict where players will be selected (what he thinks the teams think)?

If he merely predicts what the consensus is, he's interesting without being informative, if he thinks he's a talent scout then he's worthless.

Personally, I thought Ken Beatrice was better than Kiper ever was.

No kidding... I think Houston is just throwing this all out there to try to scare the Browns.

Kiper is more overhyped than Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch and JaMarcus Russell combined.

And you beat me to it, but I was just going to wonder how someone can "declare" a consensus. Does the all-knowing Kiper saying it make everyone else fall in line, thereby creating consensus?

Contract-wise, what's the difference between picking someone No. 1 overall and, say, No. 4 overall under the CBA?

Not that much, but ego matters, too.
