I wonder if New England would pass on him if given the chance to draft him?

How would they get that chance?

When doesn't Gruden come off like a douche?

The best situation for Manziel would be Houston by a mile.

Jacksonville is actually not a bad spot either. They have a good young OC and a veteran QB coach.

Cleveland has Kyle Shanahan, enough said... :D

I don't hate him as much as some do. I always thought he was pretty good to deal with, but I didn't have to cover him every day either... I think it's just a certain amount of douchey that is always expected with Gruden, but he was douchier than usual to Manziel.

I doubt he falls that far, but it would be a great landing spot for him.

You doubt he falls from #1 to #29?

    We are in agreement.

Well, Rodgers fell from being the presumed No. 1 pick at the combine to the mid 20s.

That won't happen here, in large part because too many teams need quarterbacks.

We can start a good drug rumor and see how far he plummets...

I'm not even sure that would be enough to drop him out of the top 10, or maybe top 5. I can't imagine Manziel being on the board any later than the Raiders at No. 5.

I'm not sure exactly how many people believe he is the No. 1 pick. Kiper doesn't have him ranked that high overall, but thinks that with all the teams that need QBs that Manziel will be the first one taken. I would agree that he is a late-first early second-rounder. And as someone else said, if I was a first-year coach, I would not want my job riding on him. I'll be surprised if he's the top pick, but he's more than likely going top-five.

If he is on your team's board as a late 1/early 2 -- and I agree with Jaworski that he probably shouldn't be that high -- and you as the GM take him in the top five overall, you deserve to be fired.
