If nothing else, Bridgewater should lose points for being stupid. If you don't throw at the combine and bring everyone into your place to throw under your hand-picked conditions, you'd better kick ass.

Apparently he'd been throwing without gloves for several weeks. So either he should have known he would throw better with gloves or the gloves excuse is BS (that's my vote).

Some of the mock drafts have the quarterbacks falling quite a bit. Prisco had Manziel falling out of the first round. That was before his Pro Day, so I'm guessing that will change considerably.

My one draft prediction is that all mock drafts will fluctuate wildly between now and the actual draft, since if they don't, people will stop reading them. What a fraud. Harmless fraud, but fraud all the same.

Based on Manziel pro day I have Rick Perry moving up on my draft
    list.

    Does anybody take Prisco seriously?

I'm not saying he's wrong in this case but he's a complete meathead wannabe.

Some of us have been saying that from the beginning. I don't know that any of the teams have any of the QBs in this year's draft rated as a top-10 pick talent. Someone might take one that high, but I would be surprised if any team's scouts had any of them rated that high.

I'm not saying Prisco is on the level of Schefter or some of the other top NFL writers, but he's pretty well-respected among the national guys. He also has a history of making pretty bold draft predictions, a few of which he nailed, the biggest being Rodgers falling to the Packers... That was awhile ago, but he's usually a pretty good one to follow for draft stuff.

NFLN reporting that the Bills are trying to acquire the No. 1 pick. I would assume it would be to get Clowney, but the article makes it sound like it could be a QB or Clowney or Robinson.

I know Pete -- OK, knew, I haven't talked to him in several years -- and he's one of the guys who really works at the draft stuff. That doesn't make him right all the time, but he works the phones and he's pretty connected to the GMs, so he's more accurate than most.

I'm getting the sense one of the top 3 QBs is going to fall into the second half of the first round. Based on the pro days, the most likely candidate for that to happen to would be Bridgewater and the possibility of him falling out of the top 10 or further would seem crazy a month ago.
