    Follow your own advice. You made a lousy point. Joe and I both pointed it out and you won't stop whining about it.

    There is plenty to criticize the USFL about, but one team making a bad draft decision is not a reason to call the league a joke, not unless you are going to call the NFL a joke, too.

    It's funny. First you did some quick research. Then you went to a USFL game. Then the story changed again to include writing about the league. Keep this up and you will be claiming that you were the league's commissioner.

    I'm well aware of the USFL's history, just as I'm aware that one bad draft pick had nothing to do with its demise.

    I said the league was a joke, which it was.
    I know there is a tendency to romanticize 80s stuff that sucked eggs.
    The USFL had problems before it even launched.
    It was not a good idea, not good business, not a good product and failed for those reasons.
