Granted, he still has to play a down, but that pedigree is pretty impressive.

 

And they had also drafted Mike Pagel in the 4th round (No. 84 pick) in '82 as well.

Three QBs in two years, with two of them being first-round picks.

No wonder they were such a mess back then.

 

That stuck out to me too. Seems like a huge price to pay for the fourth overall pick. How many times have a team given up a first round pick to move up five slots or less to a pick outside the top three?

 

Sorry, there is no way Manziel should be the third guy from that team to be drafted. Bucs should have gobbled him up.
