2014 NFL draft thread (no longer too early)

I personally think we're ignoring the possibility the Jets take Manziel. It'd be just like them.

 

Linebacker is a concern in Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure about Shazier playing inside linebacker at his size and the Steelers desperately needed help at cornerback. I think Dennard would have been the better pick there.

 

Might Manziel have to come back tomorrow night?

 

I don't see much commentary on it here, but I really like what the Rams did. Robinson was an easy choice at No. 2 and Aaron Donald is a fantastic selection at No. 13. The guy was absolutely dominant as a senior, impressed at the combine and the Senior Bowl.

 

I really like Donald, but man, I would have put DL near the bottom of the Rams many, many needs.

DL is never lower than third on any team's list of priorities, not even if they have four All-Pros. It is always a good pick.

 

They apparently were trying to trade down and couldn't get an offer they liked.
